So. in that case you would need the help of the organic traffic because it’s mostly seen that 93% of the online experiences begin with a search engine. You would even be surprised to know that there are 1 trillion searches every single month!

Having a good SEO presence gives you the power to drive inbound traffic in turn helping you grow your business for the years to come. The website owner who has his website as an average does not have the power to rank on the first page of Google

Online there are several countless high-profile websites that have capitalized on top industry keywords. You can also find a number of other bloggers who are in a race to rank for their keywords. This, in short, accumulates to the fact that the competition is quite hard which might not be in your favor. The other best part you need to know is that you don’t even need the authority or links to rank for most of the keywords. Digital marketing is all about adopting multiple strategies for you to be on-par with your competitors.

So, if you are just at an initial level then make sure you follow various strategies. You don’t need to stress much about it, you just need to readjust your strategy that you are going to use a bit and make use of different methods to show up for your targeted keywords.

  1. Use long-tail Keywords

First of all, what is a Longtail keyword? Here’s an example of it:

  • Short Head Keyword: SEO Guide

  • Long-tail: SEO guide for businesses in 2021

Each of the above mentioned might not send you tons of traffic to your website. But having a long-tail keyword can at least add a bunch of them. A long-tail keyword is important because they are easier to rank for and it also takes lesser time and money. Are you still skeptical about the power that long-tail keywords have? Long-tail keywords cater to providing very specific information while on the other hand, short-tail keywords are more generic. The plus point of having a long-tail keyword is that it will let the user stick around and concert as it provides searcher-specific information.

  1. Increase the number of blog posting than your competitor

Ensure to have two keywords max per post which makes you focus on creating a lot of content. More the content better the ranking. It also lets more pages being indexed along with driving traffic to your site. You can’t suffice to write just 5-10 posts a month while your competitor on the other hand writes 16+ blogs every month. In such cases you just can’t expect to outshine your competitor, can you? For that, you need to start writing as if your business depends on that.

  1. Feature or review in the round-ups

It doesn’t make much sense on spending money on PPC ads in order to rank higher for keywords while it’s also not wise to spend too much of your time and money on creating long-form guides in order to rank for the desired keywords.

What you can do is have an official site placed at the top page of Google through the help of Adwords or Organic rankings and get featured in round-up posts with your minimal time and effort being invested in. Round-ups are nothing but free advertising.

If you are a starter then getting highlighted on the first page is really a tough task. But you can’t neglect it. You can also opt for tactics like PPC or even try getting reviewed in round-up style posts such that you get featured on top articles. Try adopting various digital marketing strategies to carve out the maximum traffic for yourself.
